WHERE DO WE DELIVER?
Delivery to select suburbs across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW . If your delivery suburb is not listed below simply check to confirm the postcode is listed. As some postcodes have multiple suburbs within them, not every suburb may be mentioned below. If the postcode is on the list then we deliver to that suburb. All delivery suburbs are open for same day delivery till 11am
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?
Local delivery is FREE to select Gold Coast suburbs with the following delivery rates listed below for our other service areas.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU DELIVER?
5 days a week Monday-Friday.
We do not deliver on weekends or Public holidays. This includes national and local public holidays.
WHAT ARE OUR CUT OFF TIMES?
Same Day delivery is available for all service areas till 11am. You can place your order in advance by selecting the date selection at check out.WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED & CAN I SELECT A DELIVERY TIME?
Please note, our delivery window is from 830am-530pm. Due to our order volume and the fact that we use courier services with their own varying schedule we can not deliver during a specific timeframe other than this window.
CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Upon the completion of your order, you will receive confirmation via email or mobile, depending on the details you have left in the "sender" information on the website. After that, the next confirmation you will receive is the when the order is either collected by our courier service or dropped off at the delivery address by one of our team members. As we use a number of delivery methods, both in house and via external couriers, we are unable to offer real time tracking of our orders. Rest assured that your delivery will be made between 8am-530pm and should there be any reason we are unable to deliver during this time, we will notify you of any delays.
CAN I PICK UP FROM IN STORE?
To comply with liquor licensing requirements listed above, all boxes containing alcoholic beverages cannot be collected in store as they must be delivered to another location other than the business where the sale is made. All non alcoholic boxes can be collected from our store in Mermaid Beach. For purchases made online, enter The Borrowed Nursery address "44 Cronulla Avenue Mermaid Beach" as the shipping address and in the notes section, after writing the message for your gift card, confirm the day you will be collecting. Alternatively you can purchase and collect in store making payment there.
DO YOU DELIVER TO PO BOXES?
No, we deliver only to residential or business addresses and do not deliver boxes for collection at the Post Office if the recipient isn't present for delivery or if there is no safe space to leave the item
DOES THE RECEIVER NEED TO BE HOME FOR DELIVERY?
No, the receiver does not need to be home to receive the box however, we must be able to leave the box in a safe and secure location.
- The Box contains a living plant therefore needs to be kept in a shaded position
- We take no responsibility for theft, so it’s recommended the box is delivered to a secure location.
- Delivery can be made to either a residential or commercial address during business hours, so your gift can be delivered to the receivers home or work address.
- Consider if the delivery address is a gated complex or one that requires access to leave at the recipients door. If we are unable to access the address, a re-delivery fee (dependant on delivery suburb) will apply and re-delivery will not be completed until payment for this fee is received. Alternatively the box can be collected in store at The Borrowed Nursery at Mermaid Beach
ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES?
If you are purchasing more that one box and only require it to be delivered to one address we offer discounts. To find out more please email us with your delivery address and order requirement and we will get back to you with a discount that can be applied to your order.
I'M ORDERING MULTIPLE BOXES, HOW SHOULD I SUPPLY MY GIFT CARD MESSAGES?
If you have purchased multiple boxes requiring different messages on each of the gift cards, please notate each message with the box number.
For example:
Base Box 1 message: {Insert message}
Base box 2 message: {Insert message}
WILL THE PLANT CONTAINED IN THE BOX BE DIFFERENT TO THE PICTURE ON THE WEBSITE ?
As plants are a living thing, they can be affected by the elements of nature including weather and seasonal changes. Autumn and Winter in particular will see plants become dormant and grow at a far slower rate than Spring and Summer. It's also important to keep in mind that even at the start of Spring, due to dormancy in winter stock can still be smaller. Keep in mind that the size of the plants pictured can vary in height and/or fullness by up to 50%.We attempt to source and offer the best quality stock that is available to us and hope you understand that elements involving nature are out of our control.

CAN I PURCHASE OR SEND A BOX CONTAINING ALCOHOL IF I AM OR THE RECEIVER IS UNDER 18?
No – given we are operating as a gift basket provider there are a list of requirements that must be met. These requirements apply to Base Box 1 containing 2 x 330ml STONE & WOOD Garden Ales and Base 3 containing a 50ml bottle of Brookie's Gin:
- the quantity of the liquor is not more than 2L and, if the liquor includes spirits, the quantity of spirits is not more than 1L
- the floral arrangement or gift basket must be delivered as a gift to an adult other than the purchaser of the floral arrangement or gift basket
- the gift is to be delivered to a place other than the business where the sale was made.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE CONTENTS OF THE EDITIONS?
During the creation of our range we have tried to select a core range of quality products and beverage options to suit as many people as possible. As we continue to grow the box, we will be adding to our product range and showcasing quality goods. We have a range of core editions with add on and upgrade options in many. If there's something specific you are after onr an item you would like to swap out, contact us here and we will see what we can do
CAN I CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS AFTER THE ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED?
As delivery is calculated based on suburb and a courier service used to complete delivery it is not possible to change the address once your order has been submitted
HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?
Payment can be made via credit card or PayPal.
WHAT IF MY PACKAGE DOESN'T ARRIVE OR IS DELIVERED DAMAGED?
In the unlikely event your box is damaged or doesn’t arrive, please contact us asap and we will work through an appropriate solution for you. We require proof of damage so we can follow it up with our suppliers and delivery drivers.
