WILL THE PLANT CONTAINED IN THE BOX BE DIFFERENT TO THE PICTURE ON THE WEBSITE ?

As plants are a living thing, they can be affected by the elements of nature including weather and seasonal changes. Autumn and Winter in particular will see plants become dormant and grow at a far slower rate than Spring and Summer. It's also important to keep in mind that even at the start of Spring, due to dormancy in winter stock can still be smaller. Keep in mind that the size of the plants pictured can vary in height and/or fullness by up to 50%.We attempt to source and offer the best quality stock that is available to us and hope you understand that elements involving nature are out of our control. 

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

Based on the Gold Coast, The Botanica box currently delivers to select Brisbane & Gold Coast suburbs in Queensland and as far south as Casuarina in northern New South Wales. 

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

Local delivery is FREE to select Gold Coast suburbs. We currently have a total of 4 service areas with the following delivery rates:

    WHAT DAYS DO YOU DELIVER?

    We deliver 5 days a week Monday-Friday. Same day delivery is available for orders placed by 12pm, orders received any time after this will be delivered next day. Currently, same day delivery is not available for Brisbane suburbs, orders placed by 8pm will be delivered the next day.

    Please note, our delivery window is from 8am-530pm. If you need the box delivered outside this window or at a specific time within this window please advise us of the details at checkout. We will try to comply with your request but cannot guarantee timings due to conditions outside our control.

    For special occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day & Father's Day we may deliver on weekends. If this service is available it will be promoted via the website and social media.

    We do not deliver on Public holidays.

    CAN I PICK UP FROM IN STORE?

    To comply with liquor licensing requirements listed above, all boxes containing alcoholic beverages can not be collected in store as they must be delivered to another a place other than the business where the sale is made. All non alcoholic  boxes can be collected from our store in Mermaid Beach. For purchases made online, enter The Borrowed Nursery address "44 Cronulla avenue Mermaid Beach" as the shipping address and in the notes section, after writing the message for your gift card, confirm the day you will be collecting. Alternatively you can purchase and collect in store making payment there.

    WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE DELIVERY AREAS?

     Whilst our product is not currently available for interstate shipping, we are working on packaging and delivery options to ensure the safe transport of products to cities interstate like Sydney and Melbourne.

    DOES THE RECEIVER NEED TO BE HOME FOR DELIVERY?

    No, the  receiver does not need to be home to receive the box however we do ask that you consider the below:

    • The Box contains a living plant therefore needs to be kept in a shaded position
    • We take no responsibility for theft, so it’s recommended the box is delivered to a secure location. 
    • Delivery can be made to either a residential or commercial address during business hours, so your gift can be delivered to the receivers home or work address.

    ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES?

    If you are purchasing more that one box and only require it to be delivered to one address we offer discounts. To find out more please email us with your delivery address and order requirement and we will get back to you with a discount that can be applied to your order.

    I'M ORDERING MULTIPLE BOXES, HOW SHOULD I SUPPLY MY GIFT CARD MESSAGES?

    If you have purchased multiple boxes requiring different messages on each of the gift cards, please notate each message with the box number.

    For example:
    Base Box 1 message:  {Insert message}

    CAN I PURCHASE OR SEND A BOX CONTAINING ALCOHOL IF I AM OR THE RECEIVER IS UNDER 18?

    No – given we are operating as a gift basket provider there are a list of requirements that must be met. These requirements apply to Base Box 1 containing 2 x 330ml STONE & WOOD Garden Ales and Base 3 containing a 50ml bottle of Brookie's Gin:

    • the quantity of the liquor is not more than 2L and, if the liquor includes spirits, the quantity of spirits is not more than 1L
    • the floral arrangement or gift basket must be delivered as a gift to an adult other than the purchaser of the floral arrangement or gift basket
    • the gift is to be delivered to a place other than the business where the sale was made.

    CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY BOX?

    With our first release of Base Edition boxes, we have tried to select a core range of quality products and beverage options to suit as many people as possible. As we continue to grow the box in the new year, we will be adding to our product range and showcasing quality goods.

    In addition we will be adding new editions to the product range, showcasing quality goods that we will be adding to the inventory in the new year. In addition to that we will also be adding  “build your own box” functionality to allow further customisations to the box. See our products pages to get a look at the new editions coming soon.

    HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?

    Payment can be made via credit card or PayPal.

    WHAT IF MY PACKAGE DOESNT ARRIVE OR IS DELIVERED DAMAGED?

    In the unlikely event your box is damaged or doesn’t arrive, please contact us asap and we will work through an appropriate solution for you. We require proof of damage so we can follow it up with our suppliers and delivery drivers.
